    I do not know how in the new ones, but in the very, very old ones, it was necessary in the graphic designer:

    Add the "GroupHeader" element to the layout of the printed report page, assign the request and the field for grouping to it (you can make it narrow).

    After adding the "GroupFotter" of the group, and in it insert a memo-field in which to write something like "= SUM (Query1.val)"

    Instead, you can use the "ReportHeader" and "ReportFooter".
