A question. My system is loading too slowly. I tried to view all the logs, all the errors - nothing that could lead to the next. I tried to start the system in diagnostic mode - it loads much faster, but without services, as without ears ... I read about BootVis on the network, I tried it in any way. She just when loading the system gives "Instructions such turned to memory at the address of such-and-such." And that's all. Clambered all the Internet, but never found anything worthwhile. What to do? In the event of: 4GB RAM, 1.8 GHz CPU.

UPDATE

I want to note: when all services are completely disabled using msconfig, the system loads more or less normally. But sorting through all the services is troublesome. I found one of the braking services: Computer Browser. But this is not the limit. Something else slows down the load. How to find out what?

  • Immediately after installation, slowly loaded or some time after? - dzhioev
  • A couple of months after installation. Immediately: there are no problems with the registry, I regularly clean it, no antivirus has found any viruses. But after that it was exactly the way to slow down - I don’t remember;) ... - 3JIoi_Hy6
  • Comrade had a similar problem. The "User Greeting" screensaver hangs for a long time. So it was not possible to defeat her. Moreover, if you pull out the cable, the window quickly disappears and the user is authorized on the machine. If the network cable is connected to the computer, the welcome window will hang for a few minutes. In general, our research focused on the fact that a long-term network address is obtained. Maybe this will give you an idea. We have already surrendered to this problem. (Can antivirus / firewall fool?) - pincher1519

You yourself answered your questions. Control Panel -> administration and at random exclude heavyweight services.

  • Using Auslogics Service Manager, which shows the weight of the service, I excluded them all in turn and together. Does not help. In addition, I have 124 services, and it’s simply unrealistic to sort them all ... - 3JIoi_Hy6
  • So problemma when loading drivers. maybe too many of them. But it is unlikely. Does the system itself work efficiently after loading? and how much OS memory consumes. although 4 GB should be more than enough. - Anton Lakotko
  • The Autoruns program says that I have 185 drivers =) ... The peak of memory allocation is 1.3 GB. I have doubts about firewood: perhaps it is indeed a lot. But I cannot determine what is superfluous. - 3JIoi_Hy6

99% The problem appears with the installation of some garbage software, which most likely has analogues. If the computer does not work on the network (corporate) try to disable extra services like "help and support", "remote registry". It’s best to make them manual. Check the hard drive for a dead sector, you bought it a long time? Check the lines +5 +12 BP, if they deviate strongly, it is better to change the BP, especially if it is old. Check the memory strip (like melkosoftov was tula to check), see if the contacts on it were oxidized, if so, wipe with an eraser. Check for oxidation also all expansion boards. Try to reinstall the system, install only in the first partition of the disk. Set the size of the paging file to 1.5 RAM. Deliver all system updates.

Judging by the fact that you have 4GB of RAM, you probably have 64 bits of the system and probably English. I would recommend to go to Win7 that x64.

  • So, services like remote registry or remote assistance are disabled for me, I checked the screw for errors - there are no errors. BP new. The memory is completely new, it has no year, and MemoryTest did not find any errors on it. As for reinstalling, I said that this is the last thing, especially since my screw cannot be marked so that the new partition has more than 2 GB. The paging file is 3500 MB. Updates are regularly checked and installed. System - MS Windows SP3 RUS, and 86x. - 3JIoi_Hy6
  • I can say that it is very strange, check the software. - Sergey

as an option, you can try to defrag the hard. right after it, by the way, it can be useful to boot into the "restore directory service" mode (I don’t remember the exact name, but somehow).

  • Yes, I forgot to say, the process is not fast, depending on the size, downtroddenness and speed of action, the harada can last from several hours to days. - Gray Chernov
  • Defragmented periodically, and different programs. Does not save. Conducted defragmentation and cleaning of the registry and all disks. To no avail. - 3JIoi_Hy6
  • and "recovery of a directory service" did not try? rarely of course helps, but a couple of times it was noticed. - Gray Chernov
  • I tried. A couple of seconds after selecting the option "Restore Directory Services" computer restarts. I tried after selecting this option, immediately press F8 -> "disable automatic reboot" - BSOD appears, and the reason for the reboot is not specified. Then, after that, if I try to boot up - the computer is already overloaded after selecting the axis and in the normal mode, so only one thing saves from it - “Loading the last successful configuration. - 3JIoi_Hy6

Figas to what they arrived at))) defragmentation :) this fix already helps not to speed up the download and slow down the load (he noticed on the same line). Karoch. put the system, firewood, defragment what a serious prog, then the current put all the necessary prog ...

  • I think I can rearrange it, but on hard there are a lot of important information, all the flash drives are not enough to backup. But, I think, if REALLY there is no way out, you will have to reinstall ... And about serious programs: I defragmented SmartDefrag, Advanced System Care, Piriform Defraggler and Auslogics Defragmenter. Faster not. - 3JIoi_Hy6
  • So it's clear .. fragmentation is generally garbage and in some rare cases it affects, if you read the fragmented data all day long, then a couple of percent can make a difference from defragmentation - cy6erGn0m
  • Do not tell me. After thorough defragmentation, the computer began to work much faster. But do not boot ... - 3JIoi_Hy6

Start> Run> msconfig> enter
That's where we choose "services", putting a tick "do not show the service Melkomyagkih", look what exactly is sticking in the startup. We clean applications like groovemonitor and other unnecessary ones, and enjoy normal PC operation.
IMHO, the desired service or program is easier to load at the time of use.

  • No, it did not help. Disconnected all the services that were left after disabling Microsoft Microsoft - to no avail. - 3JIoi_Hy6
  • Did avz or cureit run in safe mode? - kemerov4anin
  • Launched CureIT! in safe mode. - 3JIoi_Hy6 2:24 pm

maybe you rootkit slows down? check the RootkitRevealer system (find at www.sysinternals.com)

  • I checked RootkitBuster from TrendMicroSystems, as well as antivirus programs: NOD32, DrWeb, SpyBot, Malwarebytes AntiMalware, Iobit MalwareFighter, Iobit Security 360, SuperAntiMalware and ClamAntiVirus. They found nothing. When I let RootkitRevealer, the computer just hangs on a certain percentage of scanning. And neither the CPU nor the RAM is not overloaded. It just hangs out of the blue. - 3JIoi_Hy6

Everything is simple — clean boot of the OS, no problem — remove everything unnecessary from Startup that you can run later with your hands, except for antivirus. From services leave only antivirus and vital. That's all miracles. And yes. Do not use all sorts of "cleaners and optimizers." Many may have a positive experience with them, but this is temporary. Believe my 2-year experience in Microsoft support.

  • Startup programs are loaded after loading winlogon. My brake starts even before launching explorer. In the detailed display of the boot messages, I see "Network connections restoration" for a while, then "Running wgalogon.dll" (what I mean is I don’t know). And only then a picture of the desktop appears, and after a minute of waiting, the actual shortcuts and the Taskbar. Although your advice will try to implement. - 3JIoi_Hy6

Computer Browser is a network service, so you can try updating the network adapter drivers.

if you don’t use sharing then try to disable the "Server" service

I, by the way, did not drive, when do you have a brake? If during the loading of the user profile, then you can try to create a new user and see faster or not. =)

  1. Ccleaner download did not try?
  2. Error correction
  3. Windows take a normal, but the whole with bugs
  4. Comp weak, perhaps
  5. Write your computer configuration. WAIT !!!
  • 1) CCleaner I use regularly 2) I checked for errors with the programs Auslogics, NortonWinDoctor2009, the same AdvancedSystemCarePro and Dachshud Hare \ AntiCrach. If it finds any errors, they are not, that is, the computer is not faster from cleaning. 3) I will reinstall Windows at the very least if nothing else remains. 4 and 5) Normal computer: 4GB RAM, AMD Athlon 3000+ 1.8GHz CPU, 70GB HDD, nVidia GeForce 6100 nForce 430 graphics, 512 MB video memory, I use D-Link DWA-525 Wireless for the Internet (...), although There is a built-in network card nNidia Networking Controller. - 3JIoi_Hy6
