Why not enable DHCP on a Wi-Fi router and calculate that the ranges issued by DHCP on the above server and the router do not overlap? By the way, the model of the router in the studio :)

  • I have a server and I have a router, a usual camp with Windows 2003 - arlek
  • if I understand you correctly then just create another ip area with only a different range? or how? and how a server will know whom to assign from where - arlek
  • Yes, you call a model of the router! MB can be done on the network second dhtsp - Roman St
  • Well, there is no router, the server is like a router, the Internet server goes to the server and from the server via the second network card to the switch, that's all - arlek

And on the wireless enabled service settings (WZC)? Or are you using another wireless network setup program?

  • I don't know about this service, I use the standard wi-fi setup program that is built into windows - arlek
  • Then try checking the network settings (the Wireless Connections tab) and the network key. Or try installing the software for configuring the wireless network specifically for your network adapter. For example, I do not use the standard service settings, and the program D-Link Wireless Connection Manager, and it works fine. - 3JIoi_Hy6
  • I understand it just to install the software on my laptop I have a d-link 2100ap access point - arlek
  • I have a D-Link wireless adapter on my computer, and the access point is ASUS. But the network setup is done by the prog from D-Link. Look at the manufacturer of your network card on the laptop and try to download the appropriate network setup program. - 3JIoi_Hy6
  • she just told me so, I want to come to the office with any laptop and immediately connect, as we suppose everything is automated in a cafe there)

everything figured out something I blunted at all) because the access point just needed to enable DHCP) set it up and forgot to install Enable
