Hello!

I noticed that jQuery , when working ( drop-down menu, slider, etc. ) produces a peculiar noise .

What is the reason and why is this happening? - a question of curiosity.

Google & Yandex, the answer was not given.

This noise does not create jQuery. This leads to a poorly shielded audio wire from the video signal. It is most noticeable if the speakers are built into the monitor, and the audio cable is connected in front.

Still sometimes MsWord can make a noise when scrolling text Relax. If annoying - you will have to acquire either an external sound machine (*) or an amplifier with forced noise reduction.

PS eicto, you're so vain. The problem is, you are lucky that you have good equipment ... Or is there no sound at all ^ ___ ^

  • external zvukovuha cheaper. still as an option, turn off the volume on the input channels (line, mic) - zb '10
  • !!!! yes, of course zvukovuha =) ATP. - knes

dropdown menu, slider

The effects you mentioned are associated with frequent redrawing of the browser window areas (tens of times per second == audible range), and, probably, can be accompanied by sound effects, noticeable in some hardware configurations.

  • It is unlikely that it would only be connected with jquery, if the fonit is vidyuha, well, it's shorter to hear on modern hardware, although, I remember, one comrade had a similar effect from some kind of program (and the noise was not from the speakers but then from the case), maybe some kind of complex resonance. - zb '
