Good day. Are there any components or approximate open source projects for creating WinForm .NET C # applications or already implemented OpenSource projects.

It seems to me that there should not be a lot of explicitly implemented projects (open source), but at least some sketches or parts of the projects, maybe someone posted on the network. This diagram (drawing) shows the operation of a substation with a different set of used parts: - transformers - regulators - buses - etc

alt text ps I do not necessarily need a fully implemented project. Enough and sketch, which would be the designer of such schemes without excesses. It needs a panel with a set of different elements, which, like in Visio, can be dragged onto the workspace in order to connect them and create a general scheme. In consequence, so that you can save it in XML and then load it.

  • Required C #? If not, it is advisable to look at xcircuit. - alexlz
  • Well, I just need C # - I have already seen the other implementations, in my case, I saw a similar thing on WPF - the nevron company is developing something. - sombik

WPF is good because it's easier to develop graphic components from scratch . However, if there is a ready-made open-source-program in another language, maybe it will be easier to take it? - VladD
  • I totally agree with you. Only here is the question: is there an open source WPF project for this? I have only seen to create ordinary charts and diagrams. You can, of course, redo it (which apparently I will do), but if there are already implemented options, I would like to know about them, and other people would be interested. - sombik

To accomplish a similar task (technical process scheme), this component was used in due time (it’s on the codeplex ). It is called NShape and is quite convenient to use.
