It is necessary to read the contents of the doc file, not only the text but also the table (the table itself is all the same, but different cells are different data). For the test I tried using the Microsoft COM from COM. Everything is good, but this is impossible on the server ... You need a separate libu, found references to NPOI but did not find a normal example.

Use the OpenXML SDK

  • Thanks, I'll take a look - zuev93
  • I understand that OpenXML works only with files of the 2007 version of the office and is it fresh? (docx, xlsx ...) ?? - zuev93 2:46 pm
  • @ zuev93, frankly, not aware of earlier versions of the office. and it (support for these very earlier versions) you need? of all whom I know literally a couple of people in 2007, an absolute majority of 10, well, and 13 have a few. - Max Zhukov
  • Unfortunately it is necessary, the processing of docs should be on the server, and these same docks come from third-party api ... - zuev93
  • @ zuev93: what did you want? .doc and .docx are two completely different formats, even .doc created by different versions of the office are different. One library to read everything would be, of course, cool, but it is unlikely to succeed. - VladD
