Hello. Worth Ubuntu 13.04 + Windows 8. There is a hard disk partition W: and it plays the role of storage for Apache.
In Ubuntu, it is mounted on / var / www, and on Windows it’s just W: and everything is configured for it. I did it to myself so that it was possible to code under different axes without transferring files, and simply very conveniently - like a work disk.
The problem is that Ubuntu deletes a letter when mounting, and under Windows you have to manually assign them all the time. And Ubuntu erases the letter, even when I do not go into it - probably even at the grub stage.
Someone knows how to write a script / program under Windows so that you can add it to the autorun and install it automatically at the entrance as code (C / C ++ / C #, Java, DOS .bat, etc.).
- @Stanislaw Pankevich, I just thought that there is still a question more in programming. Although perhaps it can on rtcode help solve this problem without programming. - Ray
- Yes, I agree, here he is the same place. You can simply duplicate for order there, all of a sudden someone will answer, but in general the scent suggests that you yourself will have to solve this problem)) I myself work with Mac OS / Gentoo, so I will not tell you anything, I just love such tasks. Good luck to you! - Stanislav Pankevich
- @Stanislaw Pankevich, duplicated there. Thank. Just googling anything sensible does not work - everywhere just instructions on how to connect the drive ... - Ray

Hello, I will not give a complete solution, but maybe pushing you in the right direction. After reading your task, I think you need to import functions from kernel32.dll. As I understand it, the SetVolumeMountPoint method may suit you.
SetVolumeMountPoint - w32api - Windows API Reference
Try it. See also C # how to mount and unmount a virtual drive . Not together, but to understand the principle.
- @ Max Konyaev, Thank you. This should already help - Ray
