The situation is this. There is an MVC system written in PHP + Smarty. But we do not have such a debag - we constantly do either echo , or in Smarty var_dump , or console.log . All this is extremely inconvenient and primitive, and far from the debugger to which everyone is used.

That's actually such an important one - is it possible to somehow implement debug for systems written in PHP?
