Tell me, please, good articles on the topic "Sorting on a neural network."

I read the base about neural networks. What is a "single-layer perceptron" imagine.

Why sorting? Simply disassemble the task in which you want to write an algorithm for sorting numbers using a neural network. In this case, the weighting coefficients must be “analytically” adjustable.

If you can advise something on this particular task, then I will be grateful.

Where does this strange task come from? Neural networks are best suited for solving the problem of classification, prediction, management. A simple neural network in the form of the perceptron mentioned by you simply allows you to select areas in space, with only two-layer convex figures, three-layer arbitrary areas, but you can get a good result if the areas of space are well separable. - Sergey041691
  • He himself used neural networks when writing a diploma to determine the sex of a person from a face photo. How to use them in your task I can’t even suggest, in my opinion, there are simpler and more efficient algorithms for this. - Sergey041691
  • Such a strange task from the Olympiad. Of course, simpler and more efficient sorting algorithms exist, but it seems to me that this is not just sorting in ascending / descending order, but sorting depending on the examples given earlier. That is, in my understanding it is so - if during training the number 5 was always less than number 2, then after training the network should sort based on the “stored” data (2> 5) ... Although, perhaps, I do not understand correctly “analytically” adjustable coefficients, correct, if possible - Flasko

The problem of sorting on a neural network has been repeatedly studied; for example, see Lin, Hsu (1997) and Tamburatzis (1999) .

Cool, of course, but both of your links lead to paid articles. No matter how comme il faut. - VladD
  • Thanks for the tip, sorry that the sources are paid. Perhaps there are some articles on this topic? Here I found some information, although a lot of mathematics and it is not quite clear. Link: dropbox.com/s/yip16mkh6bord06 / ... It seems that there is no Russian-language information on this topic at all. In runet, such a thing as “sorting on a neural network” seems to be absent. - Flasko

Still, paid sources are better than none at all ... @Flasko, I can send articles by email, but for this I need your email address. - Alexander Serebrenik
  • I did not find drugs, so I am writing here. Here is the e-mail: getlag@yandex.ru Thank you very much. - Flasko
