Tell me. I bought MacBook, installed xcode 5.0.2, before I installed the axis on a simple computer, and I installed 4 xcode on it, when compiled on my computer version 4 xcode, the simulator was iphone 4, i.e. completely look, a button from the bottom, and so on . d. all appropriate. and in version 5.0.2 some confusion. the appearance is completely different, i.e. it is completely absent. In the simulator there are such models iphone retina 3.5-inch, iphone retina 4-inch and iphone retina 4-inch 64-bit. so which simulator should i use to compile for iphone 4s? Or is there something you need to do?

The SDK does not have a simulator of a specific iPhone model, they are divided only by resolution and screen size, as well as the system version, but in any case they use all the resources of your Mac. You can simulate warnings and low memory and other system notifications or actions, but in order to test it on 4S you need an iPhone 4S

You can only download support for earlier deployment targets. To make the "button" appear, choose iPhone Retina 3.5 Inch, start the application and click Cmd + 1. If the Minimum deployment target is set in iOS 6.0, the 3.5 Inch simulator will be available without a retina

    • Thanks, I realized that the model should be chosen directly in the simulator itself, and the operating system may be different for identical devices. hkar.ru/nzpS - tex52

I did not try to choose the version of iOS?
