I am writing a website for my needs, the code is growing, I rewrote it under the MVC system, the question arose of adding a class for more convenient working with mysql, at the moment I have the usual mysqli. Previously worked with CI and there was a handy thing, active record. Can it be "adequately" implant itself? Or can advise other classes?

  • Well, how to say, I do not plan to make a framework out of it. And it’s much easier to develop your code when you know where and how it works + my website is completely on ajax. Ie, the router is already fully prepared for working with ajax requests and for working completely without JavaScript code (if the browser turns off / does not support). And to rewrite CI for these needs is problematic, and even in the highest circles, CI is not popular. - avengerweb
  • @avengerweb - [Is it worth it to bother at the expense of javascript disabled] [1], + to this - CI can perfectly render content in JSON instead of HTML View (this is MVC all the same). > Well, how to say, I do not plan to make a framework out of it. Yeah, first AR, then you will need a whole lot more =) [1]: goo.gl/iPThTK - Opalosolo

Classes for working with AR, choose which one you like the most)

  • Thank you, but for the time being I will wait for other options or try to cut out from CI. - avengerweb
  • I will mark it as correct, but I dragged myself with the active record class CI with all the consequences. I will go and give the bun to their team. - avengerweb
