I asked for a toaster, but received no answer, now I am asking for help here.

So: there is an online store in Ukraine, search engines perceived as Ukrainian and has quite good positions in the Ukrainian issue. There was a desire to work for Russia.

How to inform search engines about expanding the boundaries? Do I need to create RU domain? Simply registering a Russian domain and copying the site to it is not good. I'm not strong in SEO, please help with the right decision.

Simply registering a Russian domain and copying the site to it is not good. Firstly, there’s nothing to worry about if the sites are in different languages. There are such examples.

Current store in Ukrainian? If yes, then it is possible to determine the user's browser language by headers and, depending on this, slip a particular language version of the site to the visitor.

      There are 2 options:

      1. register a separate domain, transfer and edit the site content for another region - texts, phone numbers, addresses
      2. Do the same on the Subdomain / section (moves worse / more difficult than a separate site)

In order not to filter for spam / duplicate content / affiliate, rel = "alternate" hreflang = is written for language version / country
