The first day I study php. I installed Denwer, I decided to see how sending letters works. Created a simple script with the Mail function:

<?php mail("meresh976@yandex.ru","Hello world","Привет"); ?>

But at startup, the browser gives an error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '@' in Z: \ home \ test2.ru \ www \ send.php on line 2

Search in Google did not give any results. What could be the error?

  • You either did not show all the code, or changed it here. Because, with such a record, there should be no syntax errors. - Deonis
  • This is all code. Changed Nothing - Sizel
  • @Sizel, well, there are no syntax errors. - user6550 1:31 pm
  • Strange. I will try to reinstall Denver - Sizel

@Sizel , it's better to remove Denver altogether, and take some better tool: XAMPP , Winginx , Open Server , etc. I would recommend the latter, but the choice is yours.

  • Installed Open Server. Everything is working! - Sizel 2:51 pm
