Good all the time of day! There are many examples of setting up this bundle on the Internet, but either I am an oak tree, or something else (most likely the 1st one) and nothing works out for me.

I have appname.war , installed apache , and tomcat . Just running war on tomcat does not cause any problems. And here is how to turn all this through apache , please help me figure it out.

    Proxy Support HOW-TO

    In 2 words:

    1. You put mod_proxy on apache

      a2enmod mod_proxy

      a2enmod mod_proxy_http

    2. In the apacha config you register ProxyPass. For example, in the file sites-available / default

      <VirtualHost *: 80>
      Servername paris
      DocumentRoot / var / www /
      ProxyPass / app http: // paris: 8080 / app
      ProxyPassReverse / app http: // paris: 8080 / app
      ProxyPreserveHost On
      </ Virtualhost>

      In the NetBeans IDE installer, you can choose to install ApacheTomcat. As far as I understand, you need to run JavaEE applications, well, NetBeans is designed for this and is just exactly. At the same time, you can look at the configs and hang around in the admin panel of the working ApacheTomcat. You can download the installer package here http://netbeans.org/downloads/index.html

      ps If you prefer, you can not put anything except ApacheTomcat server.

      • I, in my opinion, wrote that it doesn’t cause any problems, but c apache httpd server b apache tomcat - 2 different things. - Gautama Buddha
