If I log in from different computers (remote desktop) under one name, disk resources are shared, but the application running through one computer is not seen through the other - why and how specifically is this to be treated !? :)

Windows server 2003.

Because the connection session is different ... here, in my opinion, the answer is obvious.) Windows can run as many copies of any application as desired, assigning each of them their own individual ID. When you connect, you log in to the system under the same username / password, but the session ID is different.

Accordingly, you have a software program running in your account, only Windows thinks that another user has it. This can be verified through the task manager.

    • And how then to get access to the application launched from another computer!? - rejie
    • either prohibit multiple simultaneous authorizations, or for example, use third-party software, for example radmin. + if my memory serves me, the question was - why, and not why and how to treat it :) - DemoriaN
    • Question reformulated! If not difficult to explain as standard means to prohibit multiple simultaneous authorizations!? - rejie
    • Well, just go like this ... start-> control panel-> administration-> services-> secondary login. turn off)) seclogon service name (if you kill via console) - DemoriaN
    • How does it look harsh, just like that, turn off the service and that's it !? - rejie
