Hello everyone, I have a question: is it possible to check hard in Linux with a volume of about a terabyte? P.S. test completely - surface, beta, etc.

E2fsprogs utilities are enough to check disks, bad blocks and file system errors. You can do this: check the fsck file systems, and look for badblock bad blocks. Descriptions of both commands via man . If the disk is terabyte, then you need to take into account that the test will take a long time, and you will need enough memory (per terabyte of the order of a gigabyte), otherwise it will start swapping and will be very slow.
