    Have you installed any programs or updated drivers? There was a similar problem due to the fact that the drivers of the intel video card (or rather, the accompanying software) tried to go somewhere to the site and hung up the whole computer. Initially, they simply juggled the ethernet cable. Then they found and pulled out the items that start with igfx in the context menu (through the registry) and at the same time cut out the icons from the Control Panel (* .cpl in the system catalog)
