Honestly, I searched online, but I couldn't find anything close by description. In addition, the correct keywords, for a brief description of the question for the search, cannot be chosen.

Essentially, the challenge is as follows. There is some local area network. There is a head computer on which the teacher runs his presentation. Every computer on the network must be able to connect to this head-end computer (such as a passive terminal) in order to watch the progress of this very presentation controlled from the head-end computer.

Maybe I do not understand something and there is another, more convenient way, but in this case, the technology seems to me to be like that. I tried to use something like remote access to the desktop, but this is not at all that - there are restrictions on the number of connected computers, and it displays everything that happens on the screen of the operator.

I don’t even know how to solve this issue ... The problem is that the equipment is also old — tselerony, ALt-Linux School 4.0.

In the presence of access to the external network, we often use the program BeemYourScreen , (and sometimes GoToMeeting). You can broadcast the screen, regardless of the type and version of the OS.

If you want to show slides, you can create an account on Google Docs. Add the document shown there and give everyone who should see it a link to it.

    • >> If there is an output to the external network. There is a way out, but it is rather dry. I meant to organize everything within one lokalki, without going beyond its limits. But I will look at these programs - maybe they not only allow an external network to work :) - Zulan

You can also install a bunch of moodle + openmeetings. With the help of it, it will be possible to show not only presentations, but also organize a webinar.

I used your option in the classroom, i.e. through the remote desktop, the students were connected to the teacher’s desktop, but only about 4 machines can connect at a time. I found a way out to connect other student computers to these 4 machines and then the whole class sees the presentation.

      • Yet through the desktop is not so convenient ... On computers "2nd line" will be displayed not only the presentation, but also part of the desktop of the student computer. By the way, we had a limit of 2 computers. Although it will be necessary to have a look. There is still a question in the students. If you cook it all for a long time - the lesson will pass. if you give the opportunity to freely review someone else's computer, they can be nasty when the teacher does not see :) - Zulan

teamviewer - there are distributions for various operating systems

iTalc is also suitable for this purpose.

Everything is done quite simply and really works. Now the very need arose. Gave new equipment to primary school, kits, and on what to build a network Question. We do it like this: download Italc, maximum version 1.0.13, version 2.0 for some reason does not want to work with a floor kick. Install this manual.school56orsk.narod.ru / info.files / metod / informat / italc / italc.doc and everything works by testing a bunch of Windows 7, Windows xp, Windows server 2003, while normal flight I advise ..
