I'm a teapot in Linux, I can't do anything! But I would like to know if you can play hd-DVD and Blue-ray in linux! In Windows, it is played without problems through kmp hd-DVD and Blue-ray of 40GB in size, nVidia with CUDA. Can I install the necessary codecs and players without dancing with the console? Thank.

Yes, it is possible. Put smplayer with it, most likely everything will work, or vlc.
