Hello to all!

Such a question: how to mount huawei modem to work with a microCD flash drive. The trick is that I don’t want to put a nautilus at all (it determines the modem as an automatic), since pulls too many libraries behind it. I deleted the dwarf. I'm sitting on LXDE. And litter again - reluctance. Maybe there is an opportunity to prescribe any script?

Thanks in advance! :)

If all you need is a flash drive, then the modem needs to be switched to flash drive only mode. Refine model

On the modem, you need to execute the AT command

AT^U2DIAG=0 (девайс в режиме только модем) AT^U2DIAG=1 (девайс в режиме модем + CD-ROM) AT^U2DIAG=6 (девайс в режиме только сетевая карта)

The command can be executed using DC unlocker or Hyper Terminal after which it should be detected as a regular USB flash drive.

please follow the tags in the questions you answer. Where do you get DC unlocker or especially Hyper Terminal under linux ? - Pavel Mayorov
    • In my answer, I indicated how to transfer the modem to flash drive only mode. My answer assumes that the user will once transfer the modem to this mode and will continue to use it over Linux. I do not see the point in your minus. - santer

If there is a microsid card in the modem, it should be defined as sda , sdb or the like. The file manager you most likely have is pcmfm , the automounting option is most likely disabled, enable it, if not, sudo mount /dev/название устройства /mnt/куда-либо . Without a microsid (or flash drives for nothing), it can be defined as a sidir (not always, but often).
