I have a static ip. Current settings - in the picture you can see that now in the settings, I indicated my static ip as the A record, I didn’t touch anything more on the 1st label, then I installed my 500mb.net hosting server in the ns-server nameplate, I wanted to go there move the site, but they sent me to the FAQ, in general a bad job, I don’t understand anything there, I think it would be better then let the site be on my computer, although it’s not safe, but at least to know how this option is done Wave to my liking. So here's the trouble with these DNS, as I understand it now, instead of those ns1.500mb.net and ns2.500mb.net n Now you can register your DNS, which the provider gave me, right? And if you need something else to tame the domain, please explain. ps what website should be on one of the server’s assemblies we know!! [alt text] [1] [1]: http://i.imgur.com/UFZFE.png

And why not give the address of the site immediately IP-Schnick? And not zamorachatstso with DNS / NS / FAQ? :) Of course, "My site http://www.moj_sajt.ru" sounds cooler than "My site http://127.0.0.1:111" ... But in my a glance is not critical)) As for the rest ... If there is a router, forwarding the port (if the port is not the standard one) or in the DMZ. If there is also a firewall, then there is also permission to exchange traffic on it.
- Here I am about it. (that sounds cooler) - CapK
- IMHO - not critical;) - Zerglyn 1
- but nice. And with the routers and port transfers, it is a bit tough, I generally have an Internet through LAN, so ... - CapK
- Has the site already worked or not? - Zerglyn 1
- And by the way, the "current settings" are taken from? - Zerglyn 1
For starters, change only Type A records. You set the IP address of the web server in them, you keep waiting. If everything is correctly set, you must wait for the update of the DNS server data since after registration it takes from 15 minutes to 24 hours. near (in one city or region) then it takes up to 1 hour maximum.
I understand this is the domain settings. Why do you need to register your site in ns records? Do you have a dns server on your computer? For your task, it is enough to register ip in A records.
- You need to register a distinct domain name.
Decide on a hosting provider. This may be the same domain registrar. When registering a domain, specify the NS server that your hosting provider offers. If you decide to use the NS server of the registrar, specify the IP address of your site in the settings.
