It happens that I watch the movie quietly online, when suddenly the speed drops dozens of times and the pages start opening for a very long time, and the video is not loaded anyway. But earlier it was treated by the fact that after reconnecting the modem - everything became normal for a while. I thought the provider, but now the modem reconnection stopped helping me, and I tried to disable my NOD32 antivirus and immediately the speed returned to normal. I concluded that it was because of him, for some reason, sometimes he kills speed. Tell me how to avoid this without changing the antivirus program? Can hosts block some servers so that nod32 does not communicate with them?

If the connection via the modem is inhibited (for example, using GPRS or 3G), then it is quite possible that when you try to open an additional channel, everything starts to get stuck terribly. It is possible that NOD wanted to make some updates to the database ... and "monopolized" all the traffic.
Try to check which programs you climb into the network (Outpost Firwall shows good in this sense). Perhaps the problem is in them.
- I add that if the NOD is also a firewall, then it can simply check the traffic. - timmer
