Hi everyone.

I want to learn a python with qt-gui under the Nix. Deckstop on xfce. I installed debian - this is what the fathers advised - however, when I installed a python 2.7 on it (initially 2.6), they all shuffled off. site, everything seems to be ok, but not all packages from debian reps want to work with it, for example, ideik.

I removed the python - now the system has completely failed. Those. With debian only from off. Repov. So?

My question is this: advise distrib, where it is allowed to install packages not only from off. Repositories

Or.

Prompt the installation method in which to install packages so as not to crash the system, if that is possible, of course.

You can install packages from wherever you want. Install the python and the cuit (run as root): aptitude install python2.7 python-qt4

All you need to do is pull in dependencies. If some error in the packages is written about it, if IDE Eric does not start, then you need to look at the logs that it is missing.
