Good day! In general, the theme of such a web server installed Alice * .domain.local -> domain.local

The task is now the following: If you change the hosts file to: 127.0.0.1 domain.local127.0.0.1 1.domain.local

Domains "domain.local" and "1.domain.local" and you need to make all the available names to refer to the domain. Option: 127.0.0.1 * .domain.local - tried, does not help. Is it possible to solve my problem somehow? what not to add over (9000) lines in hosts?

    wildcard in windows never worked.

    • The task as a whole: "there is a site in my case; a domain.local person registers to itself, say, a personal 'site' and access to it using * .domain.local. If * not empty then redirect to the normal page." Almost the whole task is rephrased - because the agreement on confidentiality was signed. I skipped towards Wildcard Windows. And I realized that it was easier for me to work and to my beloved Ubuntu to get tomorrow =) - Quiss 1
    • Well, Duc would have mastered the DNS, to raise it there for 5 minutes, one zone, but what a profit. - pyatak
    • Still, it seems easier and faster to do this on my Ubuntu. All the same, until work left 8 hours. Thanks for the tip about "Wildcard" - Quiss 1
