Hello, there is such a problem: there are two computers and two printers, one looks into the world, the other on LAN, you need to make the company print on both printers (ie, each computer can print with that and the other printer). Printserver does not offer if there are any solutions, thanks in advance.
- Printers are networked (i.e., with an Ethernet interface) or local, and must be shared on computers? - areshin

- You have both computers on the same subnet.
- You install both printers on local computers (if I understood correctly, then 1 printer: 1 computer)
- You make both printers shared: Printer Properties -> Access -> Sharing
- If the printer models are different, then you install additional drivers through the print server (especially if these are HP printers, then they are rarely installed through a standard installer).
- Log in from the 1st computer (let's call it Alfa, the second one - Beta, respectively) to the Beta computer, by typing in the "Run" line: // Beta Computer Name_Beta or // IP. In the window that opens, you should see shared network resources, including printers.
- Click on the printer icon with the right mouse button (right click) and select "Connect". (If the drivers have been installed, it will immediately appear in the connected printers and it will be possible to work with it)
- Repeat points 5.6 on computer Beta. Specifying respectively // Computer Name Alfa or // ip.ad.res.Alfa
This is valid for Windows XP \ 7. If it is impossible to display network resources on Windows 7, check in the settings of the "Network and Sharing Center" -> "Advanced sharing options", namely, Network Discovery, File and Printer Sharing should be enabled (Enable or turn off "Password protected sharing" is set at will and need).
Problems with network access XP - XP was not in my practice.
Well, it depends on the implementation of "viewing", in general, you can use the ipp protocol.
Interestingly, and the "external" computer in locale looks?
What systems on both machines?
The ipp protocol will work only if both printers are networked and both computers are on the same network ...
In general, the details in the studio!
