Before upgrading to Ubuntu 12.10 in the previous version, it turned off either the error notification or the error logging. Now I need to be able to view all error messages in the system again. I remember just turning off changing the config manually.

Log files are located by default in /var/log. To find out which protocol files you have the main ones, open the syslogd configuration file - / etc / syslog.conf. After reading it, you will find out what log files are on your system and what they are used for. PS The developer does not recommend the system update, the “clean” installation option is preferred!
