Download an example: https://github.com/googleads/googleads-mobile-android-examples/tree/master/admob/banner-adlistener

Connected google-play-services_lib as taught: http://hmkcode.com/adding-google-play-services-library-to-your-android-app/

I start to run Run AS, eclipse writes

Launching ...

and so this process weighs for a long time until you forcefully close eclipse through the taskbar. Those. APK does not compile and the emulator does not start.

You need to create an emulator with the support of Google Services. In the default emulator, there is no support for Google services.

During the creation of the emulator, you must select in the field target

Google APIs (Google Inc.) - API level XX

    • or put genymotion, but you still need to patch for TOS - Gorets
    • Thanks, helped !!! - sba-bgtu

Maybe the path to the folder is far. Try moving the library closer.
