Good day.

Stopped with the problem of slow loading pages.

There is a jboss as 7.1.1 server on which Jasig cas (3.5.1) is deployed. When you try to open the CAS login window - it opens for a very long time. (I have opened the window, after receiving the page request and creating the page it takes 15 milliseconds, and the rest of the time (3 seconds) it’s not clear what is happening)

There is the same Jbos as 7.1.1 server on which my application is deployed (written using Spring framework 3.2.0.RELEASE), in the application I use restfull interfaces, when accessing which the same thing happens. When requesting an urla, internal mechanisms are quickly processed in the order of 100 to 200 milliseconds, but the requesting party waits for a response for 3 seconds. a delay of 3 seconds manifests itself in any request to applications running under jboss.

Java version - 1.7.0.51

OS Windows 2008

Heap allocated 6 gigs

I think it all comes down to setting up jboss or jvm.

Who can faced a similar problem or prompt solutions.

  • And what is the ping on the server? It is possible that you have a server in Australia and ping there for about a second. And such delays will be normal. Also good results can give a start sniffer and analysis of the gaps. - KoVadim

Try:

1) request a page in firebug and see what time it takes (maybe a picture of a company logo or a favicon may load for a long time)

2) directly in my application write a simple request, jerking the same application on the external API (the test method will simply return the "OK" line and time will be credited). Having received the dates of sending a request, receiving a request, receiving a response, it may become clearer ... a plug can be in any layer, such as logging (3 seconds the server can wait for a connection to be made from a nonexistent logging database)
