"Many users who use both Windows and Linux on their computers face the problem of accessing NTFS partitions from Linux. Now, the popular ntfs3g driver working in user space via fuse is usually used to solve this problem. However, there is also the ntfsmount utility from developed under the linux-ntfs project ... "When I worked with Linux, I didn’t have such problems. Both manual mounting and automatic - everything worked and everything was visible both ntfs and fat. Here is the link .

I have been using ubuntu for two years, problems with connecting NTFS have only occurred with bad HDDs. Check your drive with a thread of Victoria, just in case ..

Most likely, an error occurred while mounting, but a stupid ubunt can not say anything, so it simply does not show anything. Do it with your hands using mount and see what happens. Sometimes ntfs3g says that the section is marked as “dirty” and therefore cannot be mounted .. well or some other reason
