I have educational material. There is a site with it (formatted text and visas. Design). I can make a PS / dvi / pdf file through TEX. I can blind something with textboxes on C / GTK. What is the best and with which licenses: software or some kind of Creative License (not at all in courses)?

Closed due to the fact that it is necessary to reformulate the question so that you can give an objectively correct answer to the party Nofate Jan. 24 '17 at 11:46 .

The question gives rise to endless debates and discussions based not on knowledge, but on opinions. To get an answer, rephrase your question so that it can be given an unambiguously correct answer, or delete the question altogether. If the question can be reformulated according to the rules set out in the certificate , edit it .

To begin with: we are not lawyers, so everything that we say, take the principle of "trust, but verify."

In any case, if you publish a software, it is a good idea to specify a license. If you want to follow the principles of freedom of information, choose one of the free licenses (see the lists below). If not, you will have to think about what you are going to limit the user, and either ask a lawyer to draw up a license for you, or choose the most suitable one (see that you have the right to use it!).

That seems to be a good overview in Russian , covers both free and some commercial licenses. Here is more information about free licenses: [1] , [2] .
