Hello.

Recently, I noticed that when a certain number of httpd processes are reached, the Apache begins to hang. There are enough resources, the Apache does not fall. Just hanging. I did not make any changes in the configuration (only after the appearance of the problem I increased the limits, as a result, the processes increased, but it also hangs).

I rebooted both the apache himself and the entire server.

What could be wrong?

All on CentOS 5.

  • Try to disable keepalive - sysadmin
  • And in the logs something that, who walks, why, maybe what requests hang. Well, and what happens there - starting with ab. - user6550 pm
  • I just wowed with asynchronous requests to the server. They were created in a second about 100 - M11
