Good day.

I typed the code on PHPStorm 8, I ran it in Firefox, and there Bad Gateway 502, I looked at the tutorials of the settings, and here I got some misunderstandings. For example, I write the same code in SublimeText2, I cut OpenServer, I open a text file in Firefox, and everything works, but I can't understand anything here. Some people say, put the Yii Framework, xDebug, a lot of incomprehensible words, and I still do not understand, OpenServer will become unnecessary after correct setting PHPStorm? And why PHPSTorm asks the interpreter to specify? For example, in VisualStudio it was built-in, and is there even a need for a web server for PHPStorm? If so, is OpenServer suitable? How to make friends? In general, I ask for help with setting up PHPStorm, because I didn’t figure it out myself, and there are too many things that I don’t understand. Thank you in advance.

In general, if the same newbies can come openserver , someone may need it, in the openserver I did this:

  1. Settings-bookmarks-point to the exe file phpstorm;
  2. Save and run phpstorm through opensever (a link to the exe file phpstorm will appear in the tabs after restarting openserver);
  3. Starting from under openserver, phpstorm will automatically offer the php interpreter, which is already included in the openserver bundle (there is also a built-in xdebug).

Well and everything, further having saved the file with php code it is necessary to start in the browser and everything works, no bad gateway 502, I still can not understand much, if something is not right, please correct it.
