So that the view was more modern, and not square and gray? I used Delphi 7. Maybe you need to use another version for this?

If it's not about some kind of full-screen toy or the like (and not about the incompatibility of the system style) - better not. From the zoo "not dull design" for users in the eyes dazzled. IMHO, much better when all in one (system) style. But, yes, about manifest in XP / Vista / 7, you are rightly told, if Delphi still uses the old style of Windows 9x / 2000 times, and not modern - this is it, which is what you should do. - drdaeman 2:42 pm

In 7k you can connect a special manifest file to the application, thanks to which it will use the visual design of the operating system. You can read about it for example here: http://www.programmon.ru/Delphi7prof/6.html

In addition, you can always buy beautiful components such as TMS or DevExpress . They are not so expensive compared to the price of Delphi itself)

For the Seven, there is also a bunch of free "beautiful", such as Raize or JVCL libraries. For me, Raize looks like the most pleasant and modern option, from which (if properly used), there will definitely not be any rippling in the eyes)))
