Actually addressing the issue of how to move a site, I discovered that many services check as usual: PR and TCI, as well as the number of links from Alexa.com . Alexa.com - what is it, what does it eat and is there any point in bothering? Plans for future visits from abroad are also desirable.

UPD: Please write on the case)

  • It’s good, but if you navigate over the hill (there are 5-10 transitions per day at the moment, and there are no search bots), other than registering the site with them, how to best fit the metaphor so as not to spoil the current statistics for Russian-language searches? - DemoriaN

Alexa collects visit data from users who have installed Alexa Toolbar and generates statistics. Accordingly, on the basis of transitions between sites can accumulate information about links.

As for links, taking into account that the data is recorded only when a user transitions, it’s impossible to get a real picture of the link mass from Alexa. Sape and similar links will probably not be included in the statistics for one simple reason - visitors do not follow them.

Is there any point in messing around?

Do you have the Alexa Toolbar? I do not have. And I do not know friends who would use it. In RuNet, IMHO, Alexa Toolbar is not popular, which means there’s no point in bothering (confusion - tiring, unpleasant work, fuss).

  • @Kanvi, and I have a Alexa-toolbar for a long time and I know more people. It is very convenient that you can immediately see the popularity of an unfamiliar site. - angry
