It is necessary to add a middle name to the name, but it is added not in the line, but with a paragraph (in Figure 3). As far as I understand, the table (No. 1) interferes, because as in Dreamweaver it is highlighted in red, as well as the second (No. 2). How to remove the table number 1 to the middle name added to the line? And even when you hover on the Sitemap and Home, the color changes to blue, and on the others it remains as it is (black). And when you go to a bookmark, for example, Home it is lit in blue, but not on the others. I understand in style.css is changing, but I will not find where.

Need to see your html and css. No one knows where in your style.css is the code of these blocks. Can you select the necessary block with a firebag and look at which line in the file the necessary code? - makregistr

Use the Developers Tools in Chrome or FireBug in Firefox and everything will become much clearer. Immediately see which elements of html are assigned certain styles and where they are located.

Using these tools you can adjust styles on the go and immediately see what is changing. And only then make changes to the source.

Very comfortably!

  • I’ll post css html and try your advice - Strek
  • FireBug is a convenient thing, but I still can't see it. Or am I probably doing something wrong? - Strek
  • In FireBug, select an element in the structure of your document and look at the values of the styles. Perhaps there is a common table for 1 and 2 indicated in the figure, then, probably, the width values are written as table attributes. - Kanvi
  • When I select the text in the table that I need to delete, then in the styles (the tab in the window on the right) I do not see. The tables are different, because as in Dreamweaver they are highlighted with a red frame in a certain place - Strek
