But still, if that question is possible - in Kali Linux (the former Back trck) there is the aicrack-ng command - it starts searching for keys from the specified dictionary, the problem is that if the dictionary, for example, from 3 billion combinations, then it can be sorted out all day (depends on the power of the iron) - the question is whether it is possible to start busting the dictionary from a certain place - so that the process can be turned off from time to time so that the machine can rest and start from the place it was stopped?

    Unfortunately, aircrack-ng does not have built-in functions for this, but you can install John The Ripper to save the session at a specific point in time.

    sudo apt-get install john

    And then follow this or any other instruction to act, stop / restore the brute force session at any time.
