    As a file system, select ext3 (some choose ext2, but this is very much for an amateur). The size is better to take under 500MB. Of course, you can also take 200, but if you want experiments, several cores, then maybe a little (I have 600M now). You also need to select "label management" in the menu and check the box "boot" there.

    If you have gpt and would like to load with uefi, then you need esp (efi special partition) and the type of this partition (for download) should be fat32. (yes, you can make a separate one for / boot, or you can use it with esp)
