The trouble is that on the 3.13 generic kernel, everything plows as soon as I upgrade to the kernel version higher, then fn does not work and an error error pch transcoder appears when the system boots. Also flies the volume control, when turned on, it is constantly 100 percent.

Here's another monik goes out (backlight) after a couple of minutes of work.

  • I have a working laptop k55v. Error pch transcoder when booting the system when booting the system is there, but does not interfere. Function buttons work as expected (volume, brightness, player, calculator). The monitor does not go out. kernel - 3.19.5-200.fc21.x86_64, Fedora 21. What distribution do you use, the core from the repository or self-assembled? - KoVadim
  • Kernel 4.0 from repository, linux mint 17 dist - jashka
  • try to do so - download the live Fedor / Ubunt distribution kit (although it is better not to take Ubuntu - the mint is the same as Ubuntu, only with its glitches, which are called improvements) and test it. If the bug goes away - just change the distr :) - KoVadim
  • Change of distra think for me is not the most suitable at present - jashka

The most logical solution in this situation : do not update the linux program.

  • I've tried to change the distro on Fedor new and the same. I do not know what the hell. - jashka
  • I have an asus k54c laptop and there are three different versions of Linux, Ubuntu 15.04, RedHut, Fedora and everywhere all the keys work, only NumLock spontaneously turns on in the Fedor and because of that the keys change and when Num is lit the indicator has to guess what is on - user33274
