How to press a button that does not have a method without using a virtual browser?

Suppose we successfully log in to VKontakte using requests , then we are asked to authorize the application by allowing access to the necessary settings requested by the scope parameter (in my case, this is audio )

 https://oauth.vk.com/authorize?client_id=ид_вашего_приложения&scope=audio&redirect_uri=https://oauth.vk.com/blank.html&display=page&v=5.30&response_type=token

But the Разрешить button in the window has no method. How to click on it or find out which query with which parameters and where to go?

Thank you in advance.

In order to find out what the page sends when you click a button, you can use the developer tools available in the browser.

For example, for Google Chrome, you can open them by selecting More tools -> Developer tools in the menu, or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + I.

You will have an additional panel in the browser window. What you need is on the Network tab.

Go to the page with the button. Enter all the necessary data on the page. Clear the contents of the list with the Clear button, so that later it would be easier to search specifically for your query

Click on the button that interests you. At this moment a large number of different messages will appear in the list. Most likely, the important information for you will be located at the top of the list. Find your request there (most likely, judging by the description, it will be of type POST in the Method field)

When you select a request, go to the Headers tab, you are interested in Request Headers and Form Data (if a POST request).

    • thank you so much, but as it turned out it is a GET request with some unknown parameters, where do you get them from? or is it possible to leave the value of these parameters empty upon request? `/?act=grant_access&client_id=nomer_prilozheniya&settings=8192&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Foauth.vk.com%2Fblank.html&response_type=token&direct_hash=tut_tsifry_s_bukvami&token_type=0&v=5.30&state=&display=page&ip_h=tut_tsifry_s_bukvami&hash=tut_tsifry_s_bukvami&https=1 - user179608
    • You can try to find this information in the code of the page itself. Most often, she is there. Sometimes she can be found at Coockie - Timofei Bondarev
