I worked quite a bit with php frameworks. The authorities want me to learn how to program on the symfony 2 framework. Now I am passing the simplest of courses that I found on the site http://symfony.in.ua - Creating a blog. Nevertheless, for me it is rather complicated, many points are not explained at all (it is not clear where the variables come from, the text seemed to be translated by a machine and it takes time to understand what the author generally means). They advised me to start with CodeIgniter and then move to Symphony, but unfortunately I don’t have time at all to write a test on Symphony soon. Advise from your own experience a good course (maybe a video course) of creating websites on a symphony, preferably in Russian, but if not, you can also in English, the most important thing is for a person to understand the essence of what is being stated and not blindly repeat it.

Symphony - the most serious (and therefore the most difficult) PHP-framework. If you are simply told that after a month of testing, you should talk to your boss about the fact that this is really a big machine that implies knowledge of many programming principles (for example, my favorite SOLID), and they are unlikely to get what they want as a result. Feedback is unlikely to be the one you want, but you can turn things around a bit. In general, the symphony has an official cookbook in English, the nearest translation into Russian is obsolete for three years. - etki

In these sections you can find usefulness: http://forum.sfhub.org/forum/17/izuchenie-symfony/ http://forum.sfhub.org/forum/4/dokumentatsiya/

If there is no problem with the perception of English speech, I advise you to watch these video tutorials. However, even if the speech is not perceived, but with reading the order - under each video text version completely repeats the speaker's speech. Also on that site are many other tutorials related to symfony2-3. Further, as free time appears, I advise you to read the guides and component documentation from the official site.

In addition, there are other courses ( example ), but I did not watch them, so for them I have nothing to say.
