    Uninstalling can be started by uninstalling the xserver-xorg-core package:

     $ sudo aptitude -y remove xserver-xorg-core

    but to disable it, you need to know who runs xserver . Most likely, this makes the desktop manager . This function can perform many packages. You can find the one installed in the system, for example, with the following command:

     $ aptitude search '~i~Px-display-manager'

    example output:

     i xdm - X display manager

    here it is necessary to disable it, so that it does not start when the system starts:

     $ sudo update-rc.d xdm disable
