Suppose there is a folder on the site with gifs. Are there any ready-made libraries for searching for similar gifs?

those. the user loads the gif and the site is looking for whether it has already been added

  • Yandex not so long ago (like last year in HabrĂ©) published an algorithm for finding similar images. If you don’t find the library, you can try to write it yourself, there’s nothing complicated about it. - BOPOH
  • @BOPOH, please write what you have written as an answer. If for some reason you do not want to receive reputation points for this answer, you can designate it as “common” ( checkbox below right). - aleksandr barakin
  • While I did not take all this to dig, I want to ask: is this for gifs exactly suitable? - Fangog

There are several ways:

  • Comparison of two hashes gif-ok;
  • Using ImageMagick: Imagick::compareImages ;
  • Using the specialized library Libpuzzle .
  • Comparing files through perceptual hash .

On Habré there is an article with a detailed description.
