The site does not open with the <video> in Internet Explorer 10 and 11 below, tell me how you can fix this problem in chrome, everything is fine. The site is deployed on the server IIS 7

 <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8" /> <title>Video Demo</title> </head> <body> <video width="400" height="300" src="video/V1.mp4" autoplay controls loop> This content appears if the video tag or the codec is not supported. </video> </body> </html>

In general, after a day of the puzzle, the problem for which it does not open is found in the console it writes (it did not immediately notice) "The connected page is designed for document mode 5. Some API and console capabilities may not be available." But if in Emulation the mode of documents is changed by his hands from 5 to On the front, then everything works. How to make him always be on the front ps. if the site is rounded through Localhost, then everything is fine

  • See server logs. If there is nothing there, open the developer tools in IE. There - the network and the error console look. - Visman
  • @Visman no errors. Swore at the active content enabled Enable the launch of active content files on my computer. But the problem remained. I have that page opened in the Frame. If the page is opened directly, then everything is fine - Pavel
  • so maybe it is worth looking in the direction of IE security settings? - Visman
  • @Visman checked all the settings everything is fine. - Pavel

All problem solved. It turned out that it was necessary to register <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge" /> not to pages with video but on the page with Frameset
