1) What is the maximum concurrent connection limit for TcpClient on Windows Server 2012r2 x64?

2) How is it possible to increase this limit (which registry settings or client options are there for this)?

Outgoing connections limit - 64k. Each outgoing connection occupies one port. The port number is a 16-bit integer.

Inbox - there is no hard limit, but according to rumors , there is some hard-bound limit in Windows Server Web and Windows Server Foundation.

There is no explicit default limit in Standard / Enterprise / Datacenter. More precisely, it is, but its default value is huge. Set in the registry

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters] TcpNumConnections = 0x00fffffe (Default = 16,777,214)
