Virtual Box does not launch Android 5.1 and 6.0. But with version 4.4.4 everything is fine.

It produces the following error:

Could not open session for Google Nexus 4 virtual machine - 5.1.0 - API 22 - 768x1280. VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX). Error code: E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: ConsoleWrap Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

You do not have hardware virtualization (VT-x) or it is simply not included. Most likely not included.

In it must be included in the BIOS

  • No, I turned it on. This is not the problem. - Vlad
  • The error says the opposite. Try turning off VT-x for android 5.1 and 6. - ExileeD
  • Where exactly do I turn on VT? - Vlad
  • In the config of your machine.vbox, find <HardwareVirtEx enabled = "true" /> and replace with <HardwareVirtEx enabled = "false" />. I understand you have version 4.13> = try to roll back to version 4.12. it's not so buggy - ExileeD
