I set up a plugin on WordPress to send messages to users, but when I try to send a test e-mail I receive a message of this type:

Blocked login attempt Hello! Someone just tried to log into the account name@gmail.com through an insecure application.

I’ve been reading on the off site about various problems with this and that you need a paid Google Apps account, but I don’t understand what’s really true, don’t tell me what to do?

    The point is that you need to turn off the "reliability" check in your account. And the question from me: Maybe someone knows how to make yourself reliable for google?

    • I already forgot about this topic :) I don’t want to advise what I don’t know, but I will say that I think it’s either paid features or a developer’s subscription is needed .. But why all these difficulties .. - Telion
    • Inside the service you need to implement something like a mail service (with the ability to receive and send letters). And, I think, customers will be scared away if such an email arrives, that the resource is unreliable. - kazakov.nickolay
