We need a widget that will be drawn on top of QTableView . If this widget, when created, is specified by the QTableView client or the widget in which it lies, then when QTableView is QTableView there is a complete redrawing of QTableView . If you specify the viewport user, then the redrawing occurs as if this widget was not there. Any thoughts on how to avoid this?
