When using NavigationView I use icons xxhdpi (54x54), xhdpi (36x36), hdpi (27x27), mdpi (18x18) But on all devices they are muddy. What size do I need to use icons for it or why can they be muddy?

UPD

In the Google example, their sizes are different, starting from 96x96 using the same in size, they still go muddy.

xxxhdpi (96x96), xxhdpi (72x72), xhdpi (48x48), hdpi (36x36), mdpi (24x24), ldpi (18x18) according to MaterialDesign standards. The turbidity of the icon may depend on a number of factors: starting from the color of the icon itself, on styles, or on the state of the menu item (pressed, not pressed).

    • This is how one of the standard icons in the i.stack.imgur.com/uE9hD.png resources looks like to me, in applications it is programmatically drawn inside, depending on the state. One of the states: i.stack.imgur.com/OEnSf.png - iamtihonov
