As far as I know, SQLite can store data either in English or in Russian. In my opinion, UTF or Unicode is used for this. How are things with other foreign languages?
- UTF encoding (one of the unicode encoding styles) supports all languages. (see unicode-table.com ) - Mike
- That is, SQLite doesn't care in what language the data is stored with this encoding? - GhostBasenji
- Well yes. If there really is UTF. I just don’t really know specifically lite, but this has been true for quite some time. - Mike

sqlite allows you to specify (using pragma encoding ) the following encodings: utf-8 , utf-16 , utf-16le and utf-16be .
any of these encodings allow you to save any characters described in the unicode standard.
Unicode now includes characters from almost all written languages.
- Thank you. It became clear after your clarification - GhostBasenji
