Question to previous topic: POST request to contact

In the comments to the question there is a request code Name and surname from VK. The whole point is that if the name and surname in Russian, then the following is displayed:

Name: РђР »С'РЅР °
Surname: ЧерепР° РЅРѕРІР °

In general, the decoded answer of the VC looks like this:

stdClass Object ( [response] => Array ( [0] => stdClass Object ( [uid] => 99252512 [first_name] => РђР»С'РЅР° [last_name] => Черепанова ) ) )

How to fix it?

I changed the encoding on windows-1251 and tried it in other browsers, but the effect is the same.

  • Make sure that the browser settings have the UTF-8 encoding, and the php script has the UTF-8 без BOM encoding UTF-8 без BOM - Alexey Shimansky

Everything worked out! In NotePad ++ I did convert to UTF-8 without PTO Thank you all =) -
